Stolper Turm
The Stolper Turm in the Unteres Odertal National Park is also affectionately known as the “Grützpott.”
This historic fortification dates back to the Middle Ages and is impressive not only for its architecture but also for the spectacular view from the observation deck.
The exhibition in the great hall offers fascinating insights into the tower’s history, and the dark dungeon gives a glimpse of the stories that might have unfolded here. The climb to the top is especially worthwhile: from up there, you can enjoy a unique view of the river landscape of the Oder Valley.
During a tour, you can explore the exhibition in the great hall and the tower dungeon. The observation deck offers a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside.
Various guided tours are available at the Stolper Turm, including historical walking tours, nature and landscape tours, and stories about myths and legends:
The following programs can be booked year-round—regardless of the Stolper Turm’s opening hours:
Guided tour “From the Observation Deck to the Cellar Dungeon”
Excursion “Herbs and Colorful Wallflowers at the Foot of the Grützpott”
Guided tour “To the Red Giant and the Wobbling Giant”
