At our brewery-restaurant, our house-brewed beers are not only served but also enhance many of the dishes on our regularly changing menu.

There are 140 seats available year-round.

In the summer, a large beer garden also invites you to linger, and in the winter, it’s also a great place to enjoy mulled wine.

The Brewery’s Origins

As passionate brewers, we have made it our mission to revive Schwedt’s centuries-old brewing tradition. Carthusian monks once brought beer to our city. Until around the turn of the century, there was a large municipal brewery at the Karthaus that also supplied the surrounding towns. Delicious food, specialty coffees, ice cream, and delicious beers brewed according to good old traditions.
