Nationalparkhaus Criewen
The Criewen National Park Center is the visitor and information center for the Unteres Odertal National Park, Germany’s only floodplain national park.
It is located in the Criewen district of the city of Schwedt/Oder in Brandenburg and serves as a central starting point for nature exploration and environmental education.
400 square meters of adventure and wonder, including a flight on a swan over the Unteres Odertal and a flood simulation using a model. The animal sound quiz is also a lot of fun! The centerpiece is a 15,000-liter Oder River aquarium housing over twenty native fish species.
The exhibition invites visitors on an exciting journey through the landscape and its history. All visitors can get involved and uncover the secrets of nature on a journey of discovery through 13 exhibition areas.
This makes natural history and biology fun, and what you learn here is sure to stick!
