WelterbeBus Grumsin

Daily service with a direct connection to the RE3

From April through October

From April through October, the WelterbeBus Grumsin (Route 497) departs from the Angermünde train station plaza on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 9:40 a.m. On weekends, it runs hourly to the most attractive hiking trailheads along the UNESCO World Heritage Forest—and, of course, back again.

On weekdays, this route departs at 10:40 a.m. for its first trip toward Altkünkendorf. Every two hours, the WelterbeBus travels through this culturally rich region, rich in natural beauty, stopping at cafés and farm stands.

On weekends, the last trip departs from Altkünkendorf – Mitte at 7:01 p.m.; on weekdays, it departs at 5:01 p.m.

New: The village of Schmargendorf is now accessible on weekdays via the WelterbeBus Grumsin
There’s an important change for the WelterbeBus Grumsin: Starting immediately, the bus will make a direct stop in the village of Schmargendorf on weekdays. Previously, only the stop near Hemme Milch—which is located slightly outside the village itself—was served. Now, for the first time, a direct connection to the village is available—a real benefit for visitors and locals alike.

Visitors from Berlin can reach this small town in the Uckermark region from Berlin Central Station in 50 minutes by taking the RE3 regional train.
(Note: Transfer time on weekdays at Angermünde Station: 6 minutes)

And if nature-loving visitors happen to lose track of time, all it takes is a phone call, and the requested RufBus will take them to the
train station (please order at least 1 hour before departure).
