Take the BiberBus to the most beautiful destinations around Angermünde

Angermünde, a hidden gem with its restored historic old town, surrounded by the Unteres Odertal National Park and the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve, offers a wealth of fascinating natural and cultural experiences starting in the spring. The region impressively combines the city, the cultural landscape, and the wilderness—ideal for a relaxing day trip or a weekend in the Uckermark.

On the Road with the BiberBus

The BiberBus (Line 462) offers a particularly convenient and eco-friendly way to explore the area. Starting April 1, 2026, the bus line will take visitors directly from the Angermünde train station to popular destinations in the region—including the NABU Nature Discovery Center at Blumberger Mühle.

The BiberBus runs several times a day until October 31, 2026, to the most beautiful places around Angermünde, all the way to Wolletz. This makes traveling without a car particularly easy and sustainable.

Great access for day trips

Thanks to good train connections from Berlin and Szczecin, Angermünde is an ideal destination for a spontaneous nature outing. On Easter Sunday, for example, visitors can take the BiberBus from the Angermünde train station to the Blumberger Mühle. The bus departs every two hours at 9:38 a.m., 11:38 a.m., and 5:38 p.m.

This way, guests can easily make their way from the train straight into nature and explore the Uckermark’s unique landscape at their own pace.

Lenné-Park—a special place to visit

A particularly idyllic starting point for hikes is the Görlsdorf BiberBus stop. This is where Lenné-Park is located, which was designed in the 19th century by the famous landscape architect Peter Joseph Lenné.

In his planning, Lenné took his cue from the existing natural landscape, including the wooded areas and the river’s course. The result was a park landscape conceived as a “walkable landscape painting” that has retained its special charm to this day.

Whether it’s a nature center, a historic park, or a leisurely hike, the BiberBus lets you explore the many attractions around Angermünde in a comfortable and sustainable way.

Construction: The “Wolletzsee” stop will be closed
From April 7 to August 28, 2026, the Wolletz, Fachklinik stop will not be served by the BiberBus.
We recommend using the Wolletz, Mitte stop instead—from there, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the clinic
