From Angermünde to the Uckerseen

Bike route: approx. 47 km
Start: Angermünde, Friedenspark
Destination: Prenzlau,
Waterfront Promenade; Route Marking: Uckermärkischer Radrundweg, Radweg Berlin-Usedom

Nestled in a vibrant landscape, Mündesee, Peetzigsee, and the large Uckerseen lakes offer the attentive cyclist ever-changing panoramic views, a rich variety of plant and animal life, and—of course!—plenty of places to swim.

Once you arrive in Prenzlau, the Dominican Monastery in Prenzlau is THE place to relax! Monks haven’t lived or prayed here for a long time, but art and culture are thriving. The former sacristy is now home to the monastery café, which serves regional and organic fare.
