Family Bike Ride: Parsteiner See and the Crussow Youth Camp

Bike route: approx. 22 km
Start: Angermünde, Friedenspark

Parsteiner See – clean water and unspoiled nature all around

The first leg of this short family tour leads to Parsteiner See. Before that, we’ll stop at the fun “Ant Fountain” in Herzsprung. The beach is perfect for digging, and the shallow water is ideal for children. While splashing around in the cool water, the little ones are sure to encounter a few aquatic creatures. Thanks to the excellent water quality, perch, roach, and all sorts of other fish clearly thrive in the lake. While the youngest ones enjoy cooling off, parents can savor the calming power of nature. If you’d like to turn your day trip into a short getaway in the Uckermark, there are several vacation homes in Herzsprung that offer great accommodations.

On the outskirts of Gellmersdorf, heading toward Stolpe, an airplane appears to be standing right in the middle of the road. During a guided tour of the adjacent Aviation Information Center, visitors of all ages can experience an exciting journey into the world of aviation.

Jugend-Landhof-Crussow: Petting animals and collecting fresh eggs

Children love animals. Rabbits, sheep, miniature cows, and a small playground… A stop at the Jugend Landhof Crussow is sure to delight visitors of all ages. Visitors are welcome to pitch in. At the demonstration apiary and farm cider press, you can watch honey being extracted or apple juice being pressed.

Tip!
At the Chicken Mobile, children can collect fresh eggs from the nests of the happy chickens at exactly 2:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

Head back to Angermünde with some fresh, local products. To wrap up your visit, treat yourself to a scoop of ice cream from one of the many cafés on the market square and explore the historic town center. The open-air market square, with its bubbling fountain and many statues, is a real magnet for children!
