Experience the Buchenwald Grumsin UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. You don’t need a car here! The RE3 train runs hourly from Berlin to Angermünde. From there, the WelterbeBus (Line 497) takes you from April through October to Altkünkendorf, the starting point for hikes in the Grumsin. On your way back, after a long hike, you can relax at the Spa-Kranich-Insel (just a 10-minute walk from the Angermünde train station) and wind down the day.
