Experience Angermünde with an Audio Guide

In addition to walking tours, guided city tours, and theatrical city tours through the historic city center, Angermünde can now also be explored on your own with a digital audio guide via the Hearonymus app .

A smartphone app guides visitors on a roughly 2.5-kilometer loop to various sights and historic sites. Along the way, visitors are accompanied not only by a digital city guide but also by Krischan Klammbüdel, Martin Grambauer, and Flock the dog—characters from Ehm Welk’s *Heiden von Kummerow*—who stand as bronze sculptures in front of the “Haus Uckermark.” That’s also where the tour begins; it can be taken at your own pace—with breaks, detours, or shortcuts as you wish.

This digital city tour tells the story of the city’s buildings and people, from its founding nearly 800 years ago to the present day. The “Heiden” add to the story with legends and tales woven around events in the city. The result is a vivid, atmospheric portrait of the city, featuring a lovingly restored historic center, down-to-earth people with a deep connection to nature, and a vibrant cultural life.

QR codes and information signs point visitors to this special city tour. By the way, the guide is also great for preparing for a visit to the city or for reminiscing about an eventful stay in Angermünde from the comfort of your own sofa.
