EasyWalk Angermünde –
Inclusion and Culture in a Digital Format

Angermünde, April 25, 2025 – The nonprofit association Rasmaschu Kultur- und Bildungsmanufaktur e. V. is delighted to announce the successful completion of its inclusive project, EasyWalk Angermünde. In March, the digital, accessible city scavenger hunt was officially handed over to the Angermünde Tourism Office—a milestone for greater cultural participation in the Uckermark region.

What is EasyWalk Angermünde?

EasyWalk is an interactive digital scavenger hunt that takes participants on a fun-filled tour through Angermünde’s historic district—available for free on smartphones or tablets. The content is written in simple language and is designed especially for people with learning disabilities, as well as anyone else who is interested, regardless of age or educational background.

The goal of the project is to make cultural education accessible, understandable, and engaging. In addition to the city’s history, the rally also addresses topics such as environmental protection, equality, and anti-racism—presented in a vivid, accessible, and heartfelt way.

Here’s how it works

• Digital scavenger hunt featuring trivia questions, video clips, photographs, and narrated audio segments

• All stations are accessible to people with disabilities

• Promoting independence, orientation skills, and cultural awareness

Outstanding Commitment: Julian Maack

One of the project’s standout features is the participation of Julian Maack, a 12-year-old who serves as the rally’s host. With great charm and enthusiasm, he explains the content—a powerful symbol of intergenerational connection in action and young people’s volunteer spirit.

A Project That Makes a Difference

“EasyWalk Angermünde” is a successful example of how modern technology and inclusive cultural education can go hand in hand. It stands for openness, participation, and a fair society in which no one is excluded.
