Discover the Hemme Milch Adventure Farm on the WelterbeBus

The Hemme-Milch Farm is located in the beautiful Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve, not far from the Buchenwald Grumsin, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.

For example, on weekdays at 10:40 a.m., 12:40 p.m., or 2:40 p.m., take the WelterbeBus Grumsin (Line 497) to Schmargendorf and get off at Hemme Milch. Here, milk from 600 cows is processed in the farm’s own dairy. Join a farm tour; on the sprawling grounds, you can “watch the cows,” and there’s an enclosure with chickens, goats, and sheep, as well as a herb and flower garden. Sample the delicious dairy products at the farm café and treat yourself to ice cream, coffee, and cake.

From a blade of grass to the finished yogurt, everything at Hemme comes from a single source. On the farm, Gunnar Hemme runs a milk shop and farm café in addition to the agricultural operation and the dairy.

Here you can enjoy fresh dairy products as well as coffee, cakes, pies, and ice cream…all while taking in a magnificent view of the Uckermark!

To return to Angermünde, you can walk along the Grumsiner Genusswanderweg or take the WelterbeBus Grumsin (Line 497), for example at 3:12 p.m. or 5:12 p.m.; the schedule varies on weekends.
