's Cabaret Show “In the Prime of My Wear and Tear”

On September 19, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., Michael Ranz will perform his fifth“
” solo show, “In der Blüte meiner Abnutzung” (
), at the Bürgergarten Haus Uckermark.

The Bürgergarten provides the perfect setting: a garden in the heart of the historic old town, surrounded by flowers and perennials, fruit trees, and with a view of the magnificent St. Mary’s Church.

Things used to be different: Singles were still made of vinyl, not out of desperation. “Unhealthy” was just another word for “delicious”—and you could still remember everything, whether it had actually happened or not.

Today, Michael Ranz faces aging, everyday life, and life’s little absurdities with dry humor and a wink. Before he gets worked up again, he’d rather not give a damn.

With sketches by Tobias Saalfeld, the audience can look forward to an evening of cabaret filled with smiles, chuckles, and laughter. Of course, those in the know are also welcome to scream, whoop, cheer, and slap their thighs.

After all, life is too short to be sad. We need to smile more—it makes people feel uneasy.
