BLAUSIEB – Botanically Inspired Linen Linens

Susan Krieger has been working as a freelancer for many years, running her own wallpaper workshop that specializes in hand screen printing. She is also interested in traditional craft techniques, which led her to take up spinning and, as a result, to learn the entire production process, from raw wool to yarn.

In the countryside of the Uckermark region, Susan Krieger, the founder of the “BLAUSIEB” brand, gathers various meadow herbs for her natural prints on linen.

Without any digital steps, the seasonal nature motifs are transferred directly to the screen printing stencil, resulting in the creation of this botanically inspired linen linens.

For anyone who wants to get creative, Susan Krieger regularly offers BLAUSIEB workshops in her glass-walled studio in Criewen. In small groups, participants can learn the technique of botanical screen printing, design their own motifs, and experience the power of nature on fabric. << See here for dates >>
