For 15 years, the Buchenwald Grumsin has been a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site and is thus part of the significant “Ancient Beech Forests of Europe.”
This special anniversary is an invitation to rediscover one of the most impressive natural areas in the Uckermark.

The Buchenwald Grumsin is a fascinating example of untouched nature. Here, the forest is allowed to develop largely without human intervention—a rare phenomenon in our cultural landscape.
